Karachi Students Complete Yaqeen Badge Scout Training Camp with Rescue 1122 Support

Karachi (Web Desk): A three-day Yaqeen Badge Scout Training Camp successfully concluded at Gulistan-e-Scout Headquarters, District Central Karachi, providing government school students with practical scouting skills, emergency response training, and confidence-building activities.

The camp, held from September 8 to September 10, was organized to develop leadership qualities, discipline, teamwork, and self-reliance among young scouts. Students participated in hands-on activities designed to prepare them for real-life challenges while strengthening their scouting abilities.

Students Gain Practical Scout Training Skills

During the Yaqeen Badge Scout Training Camp, students received practical training in various scouting and outdoor survival skills, including:

  • Rope knots and lashing techniques
  • Hiking and outdoor activities
  • Cooking without a stove
  • Team-building exercises and scout competitions

The training sessions helped students improve their confidence, decision-making abilities, and teamwork skills through practical learning experiences.

Camp Organized Under Scout Leadership

The training camp was held under the supervision of District Scout Commissioner and District Education Officer Nawaz Ali Shah Jilani.

The activities were led by Assistant Scout Commissioner and Deputy District Education Officer Tariq Ali, while Scout Secretary Bushra Ahsan and Scout Organizer Shabana Zahid played an important role in organizing and managing the successful completion of the camp.

Sindh Boys Scouts Association Scout Secretary Syed Akhtar Mir attended the event and appreciated the efforts made to promote scouting activities among students in District Central Karachi.

Rescue 1122 Sindh Trains Scouts in Emergency Response

One of the major highlights of the Yaqeen Badge Scout Training Camp was the special participation of the Rescue 1122 Sindh team.

Rescue experts provided students with practical demonstrations and training in:

  • Fire safety and firefighting techniques
  • Basic first aid skills
  • Rescue methods during emergencies
  • Emergency response simulations

The session enabled young scouts to understand the importance of quick action, safety awareness, and helping others during difficult situations.
